B E N & K E N D R A
A cozy guest list of around 60 dear friends and family made the modest road trip up to northern Ontario to an area surrounded by burly pines, pocket lakes and echoing loon calls. Ben and Kendra's intimate wedding was located on the Konig's parents family cottage, or as I saw it, a dreamy oasis of cabin coziness, adventure and merrymaking. It did not take long before I noticed the laughs and excitement of loving friends and family that had travelled lengths to witness the marriage of their dear Ben and Kendra.
For weeks the men worked with saws and muscles to make the place wedding ready and their strenuous work paid off! The day was laced with intimate details, including the grooms own father officiating their union. After the lake side ceremony, the wedding party escaped to Killbear Park for breathtaking photos to return for the reception, which entailed scrumptious home cooked cuisine, much laughter and some unbeatable dance moves.
It was an honour to capture the story of this memorable day for Ben and Kendra and I must say they are quite the models! I loved everything, the perfect location, the intimacy, the windswept (almost raining) moments and the relaxed laughter. I captured the day with my husband Lucas, so I must mention how he did an amazing job caring about each moment and capturing it as my second shooter.
